Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer (E-Commerce) - m/f/d

We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to strengthen our data capabilities. In this role, you’ll work across the full data lifecycle: from building dashboards and delivering analyses to shaping data pipelines and supporting our business teams with actionable insights.
You’ll join a small but powerful data team and get the chance to work with a modern data stack (Python, AWS Serverless, BigQuery, Tableau). With direct exposure to marketing, product, and operations, your work will directly impact how we grow our e-commerce business.
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that guide decisions across the company
Run ad hoc analyses and translate findings into clear business recommendations
Write and optimize BigQuery SQL (scheduled queries, data processing, reporting logic)
Partner with marketing to measure campaigns, run experiments, and optimize performance
Use Python for data wrangling, automation, and lightweight ETL/data engineering tasks
Explore and contribute to advanced analytics projects (e.g. churn prediction, recommender engines, customer cohorts)
Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, finance, product, and operations

Must-have:
Strong skills in Tableau (dashboard development & maintenance)
Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery preferred)
Solid understanding of e-commerce data and KPIs
Python skills for analysis and data automation
Fluent in German , with strong communication skills
Nice-to-have:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA data structures
Familiarity with AWS serverless stack (Lambda, CloudWatch, CDK) and GCP basics
Experience with Shopify data
