We are seeking a proactive and driven Portfolio Management Intern in Munich. In this role, you will work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and operations managers to ensure our battery energy storage systems (BESS) portfolio runs smoothly from a data, process, and performance perspective and our customers receive excellent service.

• Location: Munich, Germany

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Salary: 2.500,00 EUR monthly

• Working Mode: Office first set-up

• Language Requirement: At least C1 Level English and C1 Level German

• Start date: May 2026

Your Responsibilities

As a Portfolio Intern you will:

• Support daily portfolio operations related to battery assets in energy markets

• Prepare key customer touchpoint materials for the rest of the team

• Monitor asset performance, market results, and trading outcomes

• Assist in identifying irregularities in data, performance, or processes

• Help prepare customer-facing reports and analyses

• Contribute to improving internal tools, dashboards, and workflows

• Document processes and help standardize internal procedures

• Work on ad-hoc analytical and operational projects

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who is deeply proactive - someone who doesn’t just identify problems but owns them, and is energized by bringing clarity and progress to complexity.

Mandatory Requirements

• Currently enrolled in at least the 2nd semester masters degree program in Business, Renewable Energy, Economics, Engineering or a related field.

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

• Interest in energy markets, trading, or battery storage systems

• Comfortable working with data (Excel required; Python/SQL is a plus)

• Structured, reliable, and proactive working style

• F luent English and German

Skills to Set You Apart

• First exposure to energy markets, trading, or infrastructure assets

• Experience with data analysis or automation

• Work experience in a high-paced environment such as startup, consulting or finance

• High level of empathy, enjoying to make our customers happy
