Sales Specialist in Bioprocessing (All genders | Full-time)

IRUBIS GmbH is a life science tools startup that pioneers real-time bioprocess analytics with mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Our mission is to revolutionize bioprocess monitoring and control with innovative and user-friendly tools, enabling the next generation of biopharmaceutical production.

To strengthen our sales efforts across Europe, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Downstream / MIR Spectroscopy Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Your responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities for MIR spectroscopy solutions in downstream bioprocessing across Europe
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application consultations to customers and partners
• Collaborate closely with the applications and R&D teams to ensure customer success and gather market feedback
• Represent IRUBIS at European trade shows, scientific conferences, and during on-site customer visits
• Support product and strategy development through insights from customer interactions and market trends
• Educational background in life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or related fields
• Previous experience as an Application Specialist , preferably in spectroscopy or downstream processing, with motivation to transition into sales
• Strong communication and presentation skills; fluency in English required, additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus
• Self-driven, structured, and results-oriented, with a passion for innovative technologies
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 50%)

Your profile

• Educational background in life sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, or related fields
• Previous experience as an Application Specialist, preferably in spectroscopy or downstream processing, with motivation to transition into sales
• Strong communication and presentation skills; fluency in English required, additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus
• Self-driven, structured, and results-oriented, with a passion for innovative technologies
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 50%)
