Intern Finance (m/f/d)

We're looking for a motivated and driven Global Finance Transformation Intern (m/f/d) , who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

About the Role

• Be part of the Global Finance Transformation team, responsible for automation and digitalization projects in the Finance department
• Analyze financial processes and elaborate recommendations to optimize our Accounting, Controlling, and Finance operations
• Participate in cross-departmental finance projects supporting our team on topics related to process automation, workflow optimization, centralization, data analytics, and others related to Corporate Finance, i.e. Treasury, ERP, Tax, etc.
• Drive process improvements based on analysis of "big" transactional data and measure subsequent performance of the processes after improvement is implemented
• Communicate regularly with people from other Flix entities around the globe, cooperate on different processes and support them in solving their issues
• Help to develop best-practices around our Finance processes and report directly to the Head of department

About You

• Excellent Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university in Finance, Business or related field of study
• Relevant work experience (full-time or internships) in consulting, business development or the (corporate) finance team of a start-up/dynamic company
• Strong analytical skills, financial modelling experience and the ability to use data to back up assumptions
• Strong technical skills in productivity tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) are a must
• First experience with ERP systems / data management / visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) and/or programming skills (e.g. Python, VBA, etc.), is a plus
• Distinct analytical mindset and high affinity with numbers is crucial
• Fluent in English - German, as well as any other European language, is a plus
