Chief of Staff

What we’re looking for

We're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with our CEO and co-founders. You'll own some of our most consequential work: the Series A, the operating cadence of the founding team, and whatever question nobody's picked up yet. Some of it is analytical, some is coordination, some is just going and finding the answer yourself. The scope isn't fixed and it won't become fixed.

The day-to-day

• Projects: you take the CEO's priority projects and see them through, from first framing to shipped outcome
• Capital: you drive the Series A:Â financial model, dataroom, investor materials, diligence
• Cadence: you run OKRs, decision logs, and DRIs for the founding team, so decisions get made once and written down
• Analysis: you build our view on the market, competition, and regulation  and how procurement evolves — good enough for the founders to decide on
• Execution: you clear blockers across engineering, operations, and commercial, and across our entities
• Special projects: whatever needs technical curiosity, operational discipline, and discretion

You should apply if you

• Track record: 3+ years at a venture-backed startup, in strategy, defense consulting or in VC - and did more than your title required
• Writing:Â excellent, and short. Numbers before adjectives
• Initiative:Â finished something nobody asked you to start
• Discretion:Â handle export-controlled and commercially sensitive material properly, every time
• Languages: fluent German and English, including in writing

Nice to haves

• Fundraising: you've worked a Series A or later round, from either side of the table
• Technical:Â engineering, physics, or another quantitative background
• Public sector: experience with military, ministerial, or procurement stakeholders
