Intern Radar Data Generation Using Video Data and GenAI (f/m/d)

Our team at the BMW Group provides and integrates models for sensors and driving dynamics to enable closed-loop simulation and statistical validation of automated driving functions. Here, you will support the development of innovative simulation tooling for the BMW function stack.

What awaits you?

• You will support the research on methods for generating radar data for automated vehicle perception.
• Furthermore, you help to implement concepts for the generation of synthetic radar data based on your research results.
• In addition, you contribute to integrating sensor and driving dynamics models into closed-loop simulation environments.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, artificial intelligence or a related field.
• Advanced expertise in machine learning and deep learning, both theoretical and practical.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch and Huggingface.
• Skill in designing and optimizing machine learning training pipelines, model architectures and data workflows.
• Experience in synthetic data generation and related challenges.
• Experience with sensor technologies such as camera and radar.
• Good English skills.
