Purchase & Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

Your Role

STABL Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchase & Logistics Manager (m/f/d) to join our growing team onsite in Munich. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to help us accelerate the energy transition with smarter, more sustainable solutions. You'll play a crucial role in supporting supply chain management with the efficient flow of materials for our innovative battery energy storage solutions, ensuring timely deliveries and contributing to our operational excellence.

Your mission

• Operational Procurement Support:
  • Assist in identifying and onboarding new suppliers, gathering quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
  • Support contract negotiation processes by preparing documentation and basic analysis.
  • Help manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely deliveries and resolving basic issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and databases.
• Logistics Coordination:
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including booking transport, preparing shipping documents, and tracking deliveries.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers, including international shipments.
  • Support inventory management, including receiving goods, conducting stock counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Identify and report on logistics performance, highlighting potential delays or issues.
• Administrative & Data Management:
  • Accurately input data into our ERP system (e.g. Odoo) related to purchases, shipments, and inventory.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, logistics costs, and delivery performance.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for all purchasing and logistics activities.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
  • Work closely with the R&D, Supply Chain, and Customer Success teams to understand material needs and delivery timelines.
  • Identify potential areas for process improvement within daily purchasing and logistics operations.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Your profile

Hard Skills:

• Foundational Supply Chain Knowledge: Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles, potentially from academic studies or a relevant internship.
• ERP System Familiarity: Experience (even basic) with an ERP system, or a strong willingness and aptitude to quickly learn. Knowledge of Odoo is a plus.
• Data Entry & Analysis: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data input, basic analysis, and report generation.
• Commercial Acumen: An understanding of basic commercial terms and a keen interest in cost optimization.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (business proficiency is essential for international suppliers). And fluent in German is a strong plus, especially for local logistics partners and internal communication in Munich.
• Logistics Documentation: Basic understanding of shipping documents (e.g., waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists).
