As a Cyber Risk Advisory Consultant (m/f/x) in our Consulting team, you will deliver risk quantification projects to our customers to ensure that they fully understand their cyber risks using our quantification approach and platform, and help take our product to the next level!

Your mission

Your mission is to ensure our customers receive a quality risk assessment experience and get maximum value from our platform. You will help them understand risk quantification, identify relevant data, and build their internal capability to perform quantitative risk assessments.

You will also support our mission to increase awareness of Squalify’s top-down cyber risk quantification approach, which is unique in the market (it’s not based on FAIR), through training and capability building in our customers and partners, and through content creation and support to our sales and marketing efforts.

As a Cyber Risk Advisory Consultant in a software startup, you will have a varied role and exposure to all parts of the company. In particular you will:

• Deliver cyber risk quantification projects . Ensure our customers get maximum value from using our platform by supporting the identification of cyber risk scenarios, interviewing customer stakeholders to identify quantification inputs, delivering project reporting, and building cyber risk quantification capability within customer organizations .
• Enable our partners to deliver projects successfully and independently . Create and deliver training material and support them when they deliver quantification projects using our platform .
• Improve our product . Bring feedback, ideas, and insights from customer, partner, and market engagement back to the Product team and help ensure our platform continues to evolve and meet customer demands .
• Expand awareness of our product in the market . Contribute to Sales and Marketing initiatives such as blog posts, webinars, and conferences, and develop cyber risk and quantification thought leadership content .
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in cyber risk assessment, incidents, regulations and technology, so that we can continue to provide our customers with insight and expertise .

Your Profile

• The successful candidate will bring at least 5 years experience of :
  • Conducting cyber risk assessments at an enterprise level, including business impact assessment, scenario identification, and controls assessment. If you’ve done quantified assessments before that’s even better, but not essential.
  • Analysing cyber controls to determine their effectiveness and maturity, and identifying improvements that will reduce risk.
  • Translating and advising cyber risk topics to a non-technical executive-level audience
  • Managing and delivering projects, including scoping, scheduling, organization, and stakeholder management.
• Being able to proactively solve problems, make decisions and show initiative. Also, you are flexible and enjoy working in a startup-like environment. We are a young company – showing responsibility and own-initiative is crucial and will allow you to self-develop.
• You have excellent written and spoken English communication abilities on a business level. German is a plus to communicate with our German client base.
