The role

As a Data Science & Management Consultant at cavalis, you will bridge data, processes and business transformation. You will help clients understand how data flows through their operations and how insights can drive measurable improvements.

What you will do

• Deliver data-driven analyses and insights that create measurable business impact.
• Build and maintain data models, transformations and visualizations tailored to client needs.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions with customer teams.
• Present results in a clear and structured way to both technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications you need

• Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Strong data and analytics skills: SQL, Python and common analytics or visualization tools (e.g. pandas, Power BI, Tableau). Experience with machine learning or AI frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with process mining platforms (ideally Celonis) or strong motivation to learn them.
• Analytical mindset, structured approach and pragmatic problem-solving ability.
• Excellent academic background in Data Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or similar.
• First relevant experience in data analytics, process intelligence or consulting is beneficial.
