Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of new business processes and features within our financial market data system.
• Establish and enforce development guidelines and governance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Manage and coordinate with external development partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Key requirements/skills/experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Developer in a financial or data-intensive environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with financial market data systems and understanding of financial products and services.
• Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
