Are you in?Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new roleDefine requirements and specifications for System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures while balancing performance, efficiency, cost, and safety requirementsDefine differentiating components (power control and management IP) and select and integrate standard IP blocks (CPU, memory, interfaces)Build and maintain architectural models and virtual prototypesDevelop and implement digital power control and management algorithms using state-of-the-art AI-driven design methodologiesCollaborate with internal and external experts (e.g., application, analog, digital, mixed-signal, and software teams) as well as managementYour ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeedA solid technical background based on a degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of professional experience in SoC architecture and concept engineering, digital or mixed-signal design and verification, and embedded microcontroller systemsExperience in digital power conversion topologies (e.g., PFC, FB, LLC), digital signal processing, and control theoryExperience with digital power control algorithms and techniquesA passion for technology and the willingness to take initiativeStrong system-level thinking and analytical skillsOpenness to applying advanced methodologies (e.g., agentic AI) and learning about new applicationsVery good communication skills to collaborate with team members, experts, and managementFluent English skills; German language skills are a plusContact: Magda Gomes, LinkedIn#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
