IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d)

We are looking for a driven and hands-on IT-System Administrator to build, secure, and operate our mission-critical infrastructure. You will own our Microsoft ecosystem, design and harden network architecture, and establish robust security standards across the organization. Operating across strategy and execution, you provide reliable First- to Third-Level Support while shaping our security foundation as we scale.

Tasks

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Own the Network: Design, deploy, and maintain our infrastructure — VLANs, VPNs, RADIUS, firewalls, and load balancers — across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lock It Down: Harden Windows/Linux systems, manage SIEM/EDR tooling, and operate IDS/IPS to detect and contain threats before they land.
• Control the Stack: Own Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot — keeping the entire device fleet compliant and audit-ready (NIS2, ISO 27001).
• Set the Standard: Define and enforce access control, patching, backup, and incident response policies across the organization.
• Enable Every Team: Be the go-to for First- to Third-Level Support — from onboarding and device setup to rapid troubleshooting under operational pressure.
• Build for Scale: Conduct capacity planning, security assessments, and pen test coordination as we grow our infrastructure and mission footprint.

Requirements

YOU SHOULD APPLY IF

• Experience: 3+ years in IT, network & security engineering, owning infrastructure end-to-end.
• Certifications: CCNA required; CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent a strong plus.
• Microsoft Stack: Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID.
• Network & Security Skills: Hands-on with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, RADIUS, and hybrid network environments; strong skills securing Windows/Linux systems.
• Compliance Know-How: Familiar with NIS2, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks.
• Language: Fluent English required; German is a strong plus (Munich-based environment).

NICE TO HAVES

• Background in defense, aerospace, or other security-critical sectors.
• Scripting & automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems and advanced threat analysis.
