Big Data Architect

Aliz is a global solution provider for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) focusing on Europe and Asia. We are building scalable applications, IT infrastructures, Big Data, and machine learning solutions as a certified Google partner. We have offices in Hungary, Germany, Singapore, and Indonesia.

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Architect colleague in Germany who will create an amazing experience for our customers as they build and maintain solutions in the Google Cloud.

We are looking for you if you

• are a data architect with at least 6 years of hands-on coding experience (Java/Python and SQL).
• have at least 3 years of working experience with Google Cloud Platform (and/or Professional Google Cloud certifications).
• are very comfortable working with BigQuery, Kubernetes, Airflow (Cloud Composer), and dbt Core. 
• have experience in the telecommunication industry, banking, or financial services.
• have great communication skills in English and speak German fluently.
• want to use your technical leadership skills to guide both our engineers and our clients’ engineers on their cloud journey.
• thrive in a collaborative environment, where you can take on a lead role to guide the data team in agile practices.

Your diverse role will include

• architecting and creating data pipelines, data platforms, and data warehouses on GCP.
• being a trusted GCP technical consultant and trainer for our clients’ tech teams.
• being part of the clients’ engineering team and implementing relevant new practices.
• communicating efficiently with a conflict resolution and stakeholder management focus while representing a holistic approach to project delivery.
• tech leadership and mentorship.
• being responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle.
• presales activities and proof-of-concept delivery.
