HR Business Partner / People Business Partner (m/f/d)

Location: Twist, Germany | Full-time

Wavin Germany is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, and we are looking for a People Business Partner to join us on this journey and actively shape the change.

In this role, you will help translate business strategy into tangible organizational impact—supporting how we work, collaborate, and grow as a company. Hybrid working model is possible, you can work from home 2 days, 3 days in Twist office, and travel to Düsseldorf 1,2x month. This can change later in 2027, where a presence in Düsseldorf office would increase, and hybrid work model will apply between the locations home office and Düsseldorf.

Your role

You will partner closely with business leaders and teams across Sales and support functions. In addition, you will be involved in payroll activities for our production site in Westeregeln.

Our locations include Twist, Düsseldorf, and Westeregeln. The role is primarily based in Twist, with a future expectation of regular travel to Düsseldorf. Hybrid work is possible in line with company policy.

Your responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted partner for managers and employees on all HR-related topics
• Advise and support leaders in people and organizational matters
• Support Performance & Development processes
• Ensure smooth and compliant HR operations and processes
• Manage end-to-end recruitment (internal & external), onboarding and offboarding
• Drive and support local, regional, and global HR projects

Additionally (temporary coverage during a colleague’s absence in 2027):

• Support payroll preparation for the Westeregeln site (~75 FTE)

You will collaborate with:

• Works Council
• People Team, BU Western Europe

Your profile:

• Degree in Business Administration, HR, or a comparable qualification
• Some years of experience in HR, ideally as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role
• Solid knowledge of German labor law, payroll tax, and social security regulations
• Experience with HR systems (preferably SAP SuccessFactors)
• Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent working style
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German (C1/C2 level) and very good English skills
