Senior Product Manager (Onboarding and Discovery) m/f/x (Remote)

As the Senior Product Manager leading Onboarding and Discovery , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our users and customers immediately recognize the value of simpleclub. You’ll work with a dedicated cross-functional team of engineers and designers to craft an exceptional onboarding experience and optimize how new and existing users discover relevant content & features . This is an IC role with high visibility and ownership, reporting to the Head of Product.

Tasks

• Own and drive the onboarding and discovery domain — helping trainees, trainers, and decision-makers get started with the right content and tools on simpleclub’s platform.
• Understand deeply user needs, business goals, and market dynamics to define and execute a long-term roadmap
• Lead a cross-functional team through discovery, prioritization, and delivery of the product roadmap using agile methodologies.
• Ensure smooth execution by aligning stakeholders, unblocking teams, and building momentum toward product milestones.
• Act as the internal expert for onboarding and discovery, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to inform decisions and enable strong go-to-market execution.
• Conduct user interviews and utilize data (including SQL) to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and guide continuous product improvements.
• Contribute to the broader product organization by sharing learnings, applying industry best practices, and helping shape team OKRs and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, including 2+ years in a Senior PM role at a high-growth startup or scale-up, leading cross-functional teams of engineers and designers.
• Hands-on experience building B2B SaaS products is a must-have .
• Business proficiency in English a must have and German (B2 level or higher) is a nice to have.
• Experience with user research, data analysis, and competitive insights, and translating them into impactful product roadmap
• Excellent planning skills with experience in roadmapping, prioritization, OKR-setting and tracking to deliver outcomes that meet both user needs and business objectives.
• AI savvy: you already implemented AI into your workflows and features in your previous roles or side projects
• Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to align on the roadmap, actively unblocking and supporting execution to ensure smooth delivery
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management by building strong cross-functional relationships with teams like Sales, Education, and Customer Success to align priorities and drive collaboration.
• Proficient in SQL and confident using data to guide decisions and validate assumptions.
• High sense of ownership — you’re proactive, adaptable, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you can take initiative and drive impact end-to-end.

Your salary: We transparency. We have different levels within our salary bands, and we use these levels to determine a fair salary for each range. Your salary is reviewed at least once a year.

The salary band for this role in Germany is: 67.500 - 91.300 EUR annually gross. If you live outside of Germany, we will adapt to your local market.

We have implemented salary bands in all job descriptions to ensure we treat all employees fairly. Once we get to know each other better and understand your skills and experience during the interview process, we will be able to evaluate where you would fit within the salary band.
