Your role

The US Tax Team at EY in Munich provides high-quality tax consulting and compliance services to a wide range of clients. Our practice is well established and is a market leader for US tax advisory in Germany. You will work alongside experienced and talented professionals who value teamwork and client service. Your wide-ranging responsibilities in our team will include:

• Acting as an interface between team members and clients to understand consulting and compliance needs
• Analyzing data, performing research, and preparing workpapers and tax returns in line with professional standards
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliverables and performing quality assurance procedures
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Sharing knowledge to support professional development and improve service delivery

Your skillset

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required. Master’s degree in taxation/accounting or a law degree with substantial tax coursework is desirable
• Prior accounting experience and license (CPA or Enrolled Agent certification) are preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools & English language skills. Good German language skills are desirable but not required
