Production Scientist - Preparative Liquid Chromatography & Antibody-Nucleic Acid Conjugate Production (m/f/d)

We are expanding our production team and seeking a highly skilled expert with deep expertise in preparative liquid chromatography and hands-on experience producing antibody-nucleic acid conjugates. As part of our growing organization, you will independently operate purification instrumentation, own key production processes, and contribute to documentation and process optimization in a regulated environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full ownership of the production process, including planning, instrument setup, run execution, monitoring, and data logging.

• Ensure consistent supply to our downstream CMO partners.

• Identify process bottlenecks and collaborate with R&D on process development and improvement.

• Independently operate and maintain preparative liquid chromatography systems (FPLC, IEX, SEC) for purification of antibody–nucleic acid conjugates.

• Execute, document, and continuously improve ISO 13485-aligned production workflows.

• Ensure consistent product quality through in-process controls and adherence to established quality standards.

• Maintain detailed batch records, deviation notes, and process documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree (MSc/PhD) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of practical experience in a startup, small company, or scientific research environment.

• Hands-on experience with preparative chromatography systems (FPLC/HPLC/IEX/SEC), or strong motivation and aptitude to learn and operate such systems reliably.

• Experience with bioconjugation workflows (e.g., proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids), or strong interest in developing expertise in this area.

• Ability to operate instruments independently, follow established procedures, identify issues, and support troubleshooting to ensure stable, high-quality production.

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other regulated manufacturing frameworks, or willingness to learn and work within regulated processes.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent documentation practices, and a structured, ownership-oriented working style.
