Are you interested in joining our Western European B2B eCommerce Centre of Excellence to shape the LEGO Group’s strategic retail marketing direction?

Bring your expertise and lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of full-funnel Amazon Ads (Display and Search) across multiple international markets. This role ensures Amazon media activity is aligned with overall business strategy, integrated across business units (BUs), and effectively contributes to commercial outcomes. You will act as the central expert and connector between business units (BUs), central marketing, analytics teams, and external partners.

Please note: This position can be based in our Hub in London or in our Sales office in Grasbrunn, close to Munich and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely.

This is a fixed-term contract until July 2027. Relocation support is not offered for this role!

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end Amazon Ads strategy across 8+ Western Europe markets (expanding to 9), covering full-funnel Display and Search.

  • Ensure alignment between above-the-line (brand) and below-the-line (performance) activities to avoid duplication and increase impact.

  • Act as the primary Amazon Ads consultant to BUs and media agencies, guiding strategic direction and execution.

  • Lead and coordinate internal teams and external agency partners to deliver best-in-class campaigns.

  • Provide strategic direction across all collaborators involved in Amazon media, fostering collaboration and shared success.

Campaign Execution & Optimisation

  • Oversee the development, activation, and continuous optimisation of full-funnel display campaigns—from product-level ads to complex formats like live shopping and influencer activations.

  • Partner with Insights & Analytics teams to monitor performance and generate actionable insights.

  • Use data to refine campaigns, improve return on invest, and inform future planning.

  • Ensure campaigns are integrated across channels and aligned with global and regional marketing strategies.

Commercial Impact

  • Own the delivery of marketing contribution to the Amazon sales plan.

  • Ensure marketing activity is accurately reflected in sales forecasts and monthly plans.

  • Identify and pitch opportunities for incremental investment where strong commercial returns are evident.

  • Enable effective use of BU-led Amazon activity to drive customer acquisition and sales growth.

Collaborator Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Amazon media-related topics across internal teams and external partners.

  • Act as a virtual member of BU marketing teams, representing Amazon strategy in key discussions and decisions.

  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Management (KAM) teams to align media strategies with sales objectives.

  • Coordinate with Amazon Advertising teams to manage day-to-day operations and strategic partnerships.

Governance & Operations

  • Manage Amazon Display budgets across all markets, ensuring efficient allocation and performance.

  • Lead Direct Advertiser Agreement (DAA) negotiations.

  • Establish and maintain effective ways of working to reduce complexity and improve operational efficiency across regions and teams.

The B2B eCommerce Centre of Excellence is accountable for the execution of eCommerce-related activities within the region. This team plays a critical role in building up commercial capabilities for the LEGO Group. Together with global functions reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, this team designs, runs and optimises the entire shopper funnel to support the marketing strategy defined with our regional marketing team to drive commercial results. Our global Product and Marketing Development team support with eCommerce-focused audience and passion point campaign assets as well as assortment and packaging development.

Our future growth plans are highly related to the ability to lift our eCommerce and omnichannel strategy and execution with our B2B customers and with our D2C team. The purpose and mission of this Centre of Excellence is to develop and implement a coherent digital shopper approach that uses the strengths of the LEGO®brand as well as our unique Operating Model while working in an agile environment. This team will stimulate the larger regional commercial organisation by innovating our digital shopper strategy and ecommerce execution to generate impact and value for our customers and shoppers so that we inspire and develop many more builders of tomorrow!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Several years of experience in Digital Marketing roles and deep expertise in Amazon Ads (or equivalent) particularly full-funnel Display, with working knowledge of Search

  • Strong understanding of how media investment drives sales performance and customer acquisition

  • Experience managing complex, multi-market campaigns across different languages and regions

  • Ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable business outcomes

  • Strong grasp of forecasting, budget management, and performance optimisation

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority

  • Excellent collaborator management skills, with experience working across internal teams, agencies, and external partners

  • Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complexity and aligning different team members

  • Fluent in Business English
