Founding Deployment Strategist

About the Role

This is a founding-level role at a Y Combinator–backed enterprise AI startup, working directly with the CEO to lead the European expansion from Munich. You'll be the person who turns large enterprises into AI-native operators — combining hands-on agent development, executive-level stakeholder management, and team-building into one high-ownership position.

What You'll Do

• Own the European rollout end-to-end, partnering closely with the CEO on strategy and execution.

• Diagnose high-leverage AI opportunities within enterprise customers and prioritise the highest-value use cases.

• Build initial agents and workflows to prove value, then scale adoption organisation-wide.

• Run agent hackathons and coach C-suite stakeholders on AI transformation and rollout strategy.

• Navigate complex internal politics within customer organisations to find champions and remove blockers.

• Represent the voice of the customer to product and engineering, advocating for the features that matter.

• Hire, mentor, and shape a growing European team as the company scales.

• Continuously automate your own workflows using the platform's agent capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• Deep, hands-on experience shipping AI agents, workflows, or production ML/AI features in enterprise environments.

• Strong grasp of model selection, routing, evaluation design, data residency, and integration architecture for enterprise AI deployments.

• Proven track record driving adoption and managing renewals/expansion in large, complex organisations.

• Experience building and leading cross-functional deployment teams, including hiring and mentoring.

• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and influence outcomes across executive and operational levels.

• Commercially sharp, with a clear understanding of how deployment work connects to revenue outcomes.

• High ownership, high agency, low ego — a bias for action and rapid prioritisation.

• Native-level German fluency (required); based in Munich or willing to relocate.
