Buyer (m/f/d)

JOIN OUR TEAM

As a Buyer , you will become part of a high-performing team responsible for planning, developing, and sourcing our Westwing Collection furniture . You will own the end-to-end buying process from identifying and onboarding new suppliers to driving product development, negotiating commercial terms, and managing order placements. Working cross-functionally with our Creative, Quality, Supply Chain Management, and Merchandising teams, you will play a key role in translating concepts into commercially successful products. You will contribute to delivering strong collections while ensuring adherence to our compliance standards and sustainability goals. This position is permanent and located in Munich .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own and drive the sourcing strategy for new suppliers
• Lead product development initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to optimise margin and value
• Manage order placements, tracking, and procurement processes, and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations, including sustainability targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and alignment with brand vision
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline workflows

YOU COME WITH

• A Bachelor's degree in Business or another relevant field and 2+ years of experience in Buying
• Experience in Buying, Sourcing, or Procurement, ideally within furniture, Home & Living, or e-commerce
• Strong commercial mindset with negotiation expertise
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a high level of ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for design, trends, and product innovation
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
