Your Mission

reev is becoming Europe's largest B2B platform for energy and charging management. We are on the path to 10,000 B2B customers, scaling energy management and our electricity tariff, and expanding into new business models and markets - organically and by acquisition in a market that is consolidating fast. This role decides whether we do that efficiently or expensively.


Finance at reev is not a support function. It is a lever. The person in this role is the CEO's closest counterpart on how the business works - analytically, commercially, and financially. You own the foundation that makes fast, confident decisions possible. You are joining our finance team and helping establish AI-first operations built to work at scale.

You own Finance end-to-end : Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, M&A, and the systems that make all of it faster and smarter. You report directly to the CEO and act as a strong counterpart to him. You are the person who pressure-tests every assumption, challenges the plan before the market does, and makes sure we are building a genuinely strong business model, not a story that only works on a slide.

Your mission:

• Own the operating model . Build an AI-first finance team that is faster, smarter, leaner.
• Automate Finance . Monthly closing in half the time.
• Control the right numbers. Burn Multiple, NRR, gross margin per product domain. You know which metrics drive the business and how to influence them positively.
• Own the unit economics. A strong business model is not a by-product of growth - it is designed. You partner with Product and Commercial to shape pricing and packaging, define clear margin guardrails, and drive efficient ARR growth on unit economics that hold up at 10x the volume, protecting long-term contribution margins.
• Manage energy finance. reev's electricity tariff brings its own complexity. Procurement risk, hedging, margin per kWh, working capital, and regulatory exposure. A distinct block, not a footnote.
• Build investor readiness. Own the financial model, equity story, and data room. Ensure reev is always ready - with the numbers and the narrative to back it up.
• Drive M&A and consolidation . Our market is consolidating and we intend to lead it. You watch the market continuously, build and own the target pipeline, run valuation, business case, due diligence and negotiation, and land the integration afterwards - buying into new markets and strategic business fields is a core engine of our growth, not an opportunistic side bet.
• Prepare Finance for growth. New products, billing models, new entities, internationalisation. Finance enables expansion - it does not slow it down.

What you bring along

Must-haves:

• AI as a tool for efficiency, not a talking point. You have built processes with AI and hold yourself accountable for the outcome.
• Start-up or scale-up experience. You build before the structure exists.
• Hands-on. You lead by doing, not by delegating the hard parts.
• An entrepreneurial mindset. You don't wait to be told where the problem is. You see around corners, connect the dots between Finance and the business model, and push the company forward - not just report on it.
• Numbers into decisions. You work with the metrics that matter, not just the ones that are easy to report.
• The confidence to challenge upwards. You say what the numbers mean, even when it is uncomfortable.
• Strong Accounting and FP&A foundation. You lead across both disciplines, not just one.

Nice to have:

• Experience with energy or hardware-adjacent business models. Tariff economics, working capital through prepayments, regulatory exposure.
• M&A experience with real ownership. You have screened targets, built the business case, run due diligence and seen at least one deal through integration - not just supported a process from the side.

Where you'll work
Our office at Stiglmaierplatz is where collaboration happens face-to-face, shoulder to shoulder. For this role, we expect you on-site five days a week.
