Your tasks

At CARFAX, we empower millions of people to make better decisions when buying, selling, and owning vehicles. As an Agile Coach, you will help our product development teams improve the way they collaborate, learn, and deliver value.
Working closely with Team Leads, Product Managers, Engineers, and an experienced Agile Coach, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and support teams in building high-quality products around our extensive vehicle data ecosystem.
Our teams are as diverse as our data sources. CARFAX is proud to be a truly international company with colleagues representing more than 20 nationalities. Today, we are a team of over 100 employees, with approximately half working in Product & Engineering, and we continue to grow.
Our headquarters are located in Munich, and English is our company language. Therefore, you should feel comfortable facilitating discussions and building relationships in English.

Your Role
As an Agile Coach, you will support two to three cross-functional product development teams and help them continuously evolve their ways of working in a modern, post-Scrum environment.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teams in continuously improving collaboration, effectiveness, and delivery practices
• Facilitating retrospectives, planning sessions, workshops, and other team events
• Coaching teams on Agile principles and frameworks such as Kanban, Lean, and Shape Up, adapting your approach to each team's individual needs
• Helping teams identify and overcome impediments while fostering a culture of ownership and accountability
• Driving collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, and other stakeholders
• Encouraging continuous learning, experimentation, and process improvement across teams

Your profile

We're looking for someone who combines strong facilitation skills with a genuine passion for helping teams grow and succeed.
Ideally, you bring:

• Hands-on experience supporting or facilitating Agile software development teams
• Strong communication, moderation, listening, and stakeholder management skills
• A solid understanding of Agile principles and at least one framework such as Scrum or Kanban
• Agile certifications such as PSM I, CSM, or equivalent are welcome, but not required
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as German, Polish, or others are considered a plus
• A curious mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt your coaching style to different teams and personalities
• Experience working with software engineering teams and digital product organizations
• Knowledge of Product Discovery, Lean Product Development, or Shape Up is a plus
