As a Data Science Working Student, you will work closely with our data scientists to support the data collection, analysis and modelling for rental processes. You will gain hands-on experience in data processing, modeling, and visualization, while also learning about bringing data science applications to production.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You will develop and maintain automated solutions for ingesting data of various formats (e.g. CSV, JSON, Parquet, HTML) from external and internal sources into our data infrastructure 
• You will analyse data to identify new hypotheses and confirm or disprove them by statistical experiments 
• You will conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights, monitor data quality, and communicate findings to the team 
• You will support the development, training, and evaluation of predictive models by preparing features, applying machine learning techniques, and tracking performance 
• You will collaborate with experienced data scientists, contribute ideas, and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Student status You are an enrolled student in Munich in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or any domain where you have studied Artificial Intelligence and are excited about data science, statistics, and machine learning 
• Tools Proficiency in Python and core machine learning concepts; experience with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and numpy 
• Experience with data visualization (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly, Streamlit) and exploratory data analysis 
• Softskills You are extremely motivated, passionate about learning and contributing to the team and the business with a "can-do" attitude 
• Languages You communicate fluently in English and appreciate cultural diversity
