Software Engineer III, AI/ML, Chrome Autofill

Develop and launch models and infrastructure focused on enabling AI experiences in Chrome.Participate in design and code reviews for teammates and other Google/Chrome teams.Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to turn requirements into technical solutions, deploy experiments, define datasets, perform evals and analyze results.Work independently on assigned tasks and turn high-level objectives into concrete engineering plans.Implement models within a system that agentically drives web sites with high quality.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).Experience programming in Python.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.Experience testing, maintaining, or launching distributed software and developing in a cloud environment.Ability to learn new technologies in Chrome.Ability to be aware of the problems and to keep user journey's in mind.Familiarity with Agentic workflows and using Large Language Models (LLMs) to actuate the web.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
