Tax Reclaim Coordinator with German language Proficiency (m/w/d), Associate - State Street Corporation
Who are we looking for :
This role is for them who is Responsible for taxation of German income payments in due consideration of German tax law requirements for German and non-German investors
Payment of withholding tax to the German tax authority
What you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for taxation of German income payments in due consideration of German tax law requirements for German and non-German investors
- Payment of withholding tax to the German tax authority
- Reclaim German withholding tax on payments in the German market for non-German clients at the tax authority
- Direct contact with clients and internal backoffices to solve tax related inquiries on German income payments
- Implement tax law changes on taxation of German dividend, interest and fund distributions in daily business to ensure a correct taxation of State Street's global client base
Education, Experience and Skills
- Completed apprenticeship with focus on banking or tax or similar educational background
- Experience in Financial Services, within Custody Operations at best
- Very good tax knowledge, especially regarding German withholding tax (Kapitalertragssteuer, Abgeltungssteuer, Investmentsteuerreform)
- Proficiency in English and German
- Excellent IT skills in MS Office
- Good analytical mind set, problem solving skills and strong sense of quality
- Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a global environment
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work with tight deadlines
