About carbmee
carbmee builds the EIS, the Environmental Intelligence System. It connects environmental data with ERP transactions, bills of materials and supplier data at item level, so the largest industrial companies in the world can see the environmental impact and cost behind every part they buy. AI embedded in the EIS matches items to emission factors, checks data quality and recommends reductions, and every result stays traceable to its source. ZF, ZEISS and Maersk use it to make sourcing, product and compliance decisions. We’re backed by a €20M Series A and building from Munich.

About the role
You join the foundational commercial team that takes carbmee to the largest materials and industrial groups in DACH. You own strategic accounts end to end, from first outbound to signed contract, and you shape how carbmee sells: our methodology, our positioning and the team we build around it. You work directly with our founders.

Compensation
The OTE range for this role is €200,000 to €260,000. OTE includes your base salary and on-target commission, split 50:50. Commission is uncapped. Plus virtual stock options.

Logistics
Based in Munich or ready to move here, 3 days a week in the office. Fluent German and English.

Your tasks

• Win strategic new business with the largest materials and industrial groups in DACH.
• Lead complex, multi-year deals with custom commercial terms and many stakeholders.
• Open new segments and use cases across business units and countries.
• Build the sales methodology, playbooks and best practices the team grows on.
• Act as a senior voice to customers’ executives and to our product team.

Your profile

• 7+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience , with a strong record in materials, chemicals, machinery or manufacturing.
• A track record of closing strategic deals with large industrial organizations and exceeding your targets.
• Extensive experience negotiating complex, customized agreements with enterprise procurement.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as a scale-up or a high-growth software company.
• A network and credibility with decision-makers in German industry.
• Curiosity for AI and what it changes in industry.
