Functional AIT Engineer (m/f/d) for Airbus

We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Functional AIT Engineer" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Execute the thermal vacuum (TVAC) test campaign in shift
• Execute the calibration and characterization (C&C) campaign in shift
• Maintain and improve test procedures, execute them and assess the test results in a critical way
• Analyze and correlate events to their possible root causes, as well as finding pragmatic solutions to cope with time pressure without arming the flight hardware
• Exchange with the project teams in order to provide test strategies that suit the best in terms of quality, time and costs
• Participate to non-conformances and support investigations taking into account the company quality standards

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, aerospace, Embedded Systems or a comparable qualification
• More than two years of professional experience in the field of engineering and aerospace
• Experience in working with space standards (ECSS) and in testing would be a plus
• Experience working with a central checkout system including SCOS2k databases and Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS)/Packet Utilization Standard would be a plus
• Telecommands and telemetry management would be a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office
• Comfortable with network management
• Fluent in English
• German would be a plus
• Willingness to work in shifts over several months
