OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact. As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
YOUR ROLE
As the Sales representative for the North America and Latin American markets, you serve as a key ambassador for the hotel, representing the brand with sophistication, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality markets. Responsible for driving room revenue across the USA, Canada, Mexico, and South America, you cultivate strategic relationships with luxury travel advisors, wholesalers, consortia, corporate accounts, and high-net-worth clientele. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Sales, you play an integral role in maximizing room revenue, expanding market share, and strengthening the hotel's positioning within key source markets. You proactively identify new business opportunities, execute targeted sales strategies, and represent the hotel at international trade shows, sales missions, client events, and industry networking engagements throughout the Americas.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Represent the hotel with confidence, elegance, and professionalism, delivering exceptional service standards while understanding the unique needs and expectations of luxury travelers and industry partners across North and Latin America.
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive room revenue, market penetration, and brand awareness throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
- Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including luxury travel agencies, consortia, tour operators, wholesalers, corporate accounts, and high-value leisure clients.
- Partner closely with the Director of Commercial to achieve and exceed revenue objectives, including occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), RevPAR, market share, and overall room revenue performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, booking patterns, and emerging travel demand to identify opportunities and proactively secure new business from targeted international markets.
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with luxury travel advisors, preferred partner networks, consortia representatives, and strategic stakeholders across the Americas, ensuring the hotel remains a preferred luxury destination.
- Conduct regular telephone sales calls, client presentations, familiarization trips, roadshows, and international sales missions to strengthen existing partnerships and generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of commercial strategies and delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regional market dynamics, travel trends, economic factors, and cultural nuances across North American and Latin American source markets to support informed business decisions and sustained revenue growth.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality sales, ideally within high-end hotel environments, with a proven track record of driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and supporting high-performing sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, complemented by relevant training in sales strategies, revenue management, or luxury market positioning.
- Comprehensive understanding of hotel sales and distribution, including account management, market segmentation, pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and collaboration with revenue, reservations, and marketing teams.
- Strong knowledge of international luxury travel markets, particularly North America and Latin America, with the ability to identify trends, develop targeted sales initiatives, and expand market share.
- Demonstrated ability to create exceptional client experiences, combining attention to detail, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations to build long-lasting partnerships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German is an advantage for internal collaboration and local business engagement, but not mandatory.
- Experience working in compliance with internal policies and industry standards, ensuring all sales activities align with brand guidelines, contractual obligations, and local business regulations.
