Senior Business Development Representative

About the Role

This is a senior-level Business Development Representative role on the Go-to-Market team of a fast-scaling AI-powered procurement intelligence company serving the European industrial sector. You'll own the full prospecting pipeline, helping bring a genuinely impactful B2B SaaS product to industrial companies across Europe — and play a key part in shaping how the sales function grows.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end prospecting, identifying and converting new leads via phone, email, and social media.

• Run discovery conversations and build qualified opportunities for the broader sales team.

• Execute and continuously iterate on both outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.

• Conduct independent market research to identify potential B2B customers and tailor outreach accordingly.

• Develop and refine call scripts, communication templates, and persuasive sales materials.

• Organise and deliver internal training sessions and workshops to share prospecting best practices.

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate prospecting workflows and share successful approaches with the team.

• Contribute to a high-velocity, feedback-driven sales culture with clear, measurable performance goals.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in SaaS or B2B sales, with a strong track record of building and delivering prospecting pipelines.

• Proven experience owning lead conversion across phone, email, and social channels in a B2B SaaS environment.

• Experience creating and refining sales scripts and templates, and delivering internal sales training.

• Ability to conduct independent market research and develop compelling sales presentations and materials.

• Hands-on experience testing outbound and inbound lead generation strategies to generate qualified leads.

• Demonstrated ability to identify and apply AI tools to improve sales workflows.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (required).

• Experience thriving in startup or fast-growth environments; comfort with ambitious targets and a hands-on culture.

• Familiarity with the industrial sector or procurement-related domains is a plus.

Location

On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany . This role requires regular presence in the Munich office. No visa sponsorship is available.
