The role, in one line

You will help Payhawk win new revenue and grow existing customers as the product and accounting-systems expert alongside our GTM teams.

What you will own

• Build and maintain expertise in the features and practical application of every Payhawk product.
• Take part in RFI and RFP processes and answer the technical questions that come with them.
• Deliver personalised live product demos, including integration demos, workflows and other complex use cases.
• Design, validate and document a product configuration and implementation strategy to share with prospective customers.
• Provide accounting and accounting-system expertise.
• Partner with Sales to enable the team and bring accounting context that drives new business revenue.
• Work with the local marketing team at marketing events and support content reviews.
• Collect and analyse prospect feedback, and share it with Customer Success, Engineering and Product Management to shape the product roadmap.

What you will need

Must-have

• 5+ years in an ERP implementation role or a similar finance role (e.g. Financial Controller, Head of Finance).
• Previous SAP experience.
• Native German.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build relationships with potential customers, understand their environment and introduce new concepts that solve their problems.
• The ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
• Comfort in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
• A passion for problem-solving.

Nice-to-have

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience in both pre-sales and implementation.
