We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (all genders) for our portfolio company Reev.

In your role as Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll shape the backbone of reev’s cloud infrastructure – driving scalability, security, and productivity to empower our development teams and accelerate innovation.

Tasks

In this role, we seek someone who can bring fresh ideas and challenge the status quo. You will have a meaningful impact on our company's success and contribute to a growing global market. This means in detail:

• You support and drive our agile development process using continuous integration and delivery, allowing everyone to commit their code to production quickly. 
• You play a pivotal role in aligning not just with your team but across different departments, ensuring cohesive progress and understanding among varied business units.
• You creatively build cloud-based backend solutions by improving the CI/CD Pipeline and AWS infrastructure.
• You mentor junior talents, share your expertise with colleagues, and participate in our cross-team community.
• You provide feedback to the product and architecture team on the feasibility of proposed changes and offer reasonable alternatives when necessary.
• You work with others on your team to ensure our product's scalability, fault tolerance, and efficiency.
• Your architectural understanding will help us to work lean and establish design patterns in our applications.

Requirements

• Your professional background: You have at least five years of experience as a Platform or DevOps Engineer (all genders) and have previously worked with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or equivalent.
• Your expertise: You are experienced with Kubernetes and Helm, Kustomize or equivalent. You have extensive knowledge of Docker . You are experienced with CI, CD and GitOps (Github Actions, ArgoCD, FluxCD or equivalent). You have scripting experience (e.g., shell). You have expertise in infrastructure/application monitoring (ELK, Sentry, NewRelic or equivalent). You are experienced with log management (Elasticsearch, Papertrail or equivalent). You are experienced with cloud platform integration (AWS or equivalent).
• Your language skills: We primarily communicate in English internally and externally.
• Your chance to stand out: Experience with message queues or event streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/Redis), and working with AWS is a plus.
