Huawei Heisenberg Research Center (Munich)is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

The Hisilicon Chip Platform Team, part of the Heisenberg Research Center, is looking for an experienced and innovative analog design researcher. This team keeps growing together with its continuous business success and strong partnership and welcomes all excellent experts and talents to join them.

They are a small but motivated & aspired Analog Mixed Signal group, within a research laboratory of a Corporate Research House. They focus mainly on high-speed communications and analog interfaces.

Intern - Mixed-Signal Systems (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Contribute to the design, analysis, and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems.

• Support the development of models, simulations, and prototypes that advance next-generation signal-processing architectures.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to translate theoretical concepts into robust, testable designs.

• Participate in lab experimentation, data validation, and performance characterization efforts.

• Bring curiosity, precision, and a knack for solving tricky circuit puzzles: preferably without letting the op-amp saturate again.

Your areas of expertise

• Strong foundation in Analog and Mixed-Signal Circuit Design , including exposure to amplifiers, filters, converters, and system-level architectures.

• Experience with analog/DSP modeling through academic projects, labs, or coursework.

• Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools such as Python/Julia/Octave, SPICE , and programming languages C/C++ .

• Understanding of signal processing fundamentals and comfort moving between time and frequency domains without hesitation.

• Ability to document, communicate, and explain engineering decisions with clarity and technical depth.
