Venture Building Consultant Space Sector

Our consulting service lines span strategy, market development and innovation advisory. We are looking for a motivated, experienced professional to support as Venture Builder and lead typical consultant tasks in the innovation advisory.

As a Venture Builder, you will play a pivotal role in empowering startups within our European accelerator and incubator programs, guiding them through business challenges and connecting them with resources for success. This dynamic position combines hands-on startup support, programme and project management, and strategic networking within the aviation, space, and defense sectors. The role includes interaction with clients, partners and programme stakeholders with exposure to senior decision-makers in the space ecosystem, both in industry and government.

• Advanced consulting skill-set: problem solving skills, quantitative and qualitative analytics, advanced writing skills and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and yet to work effectively and nicely in a team
• Previous experience in international management consultancy or innovation management working in or with startups, accelerators, or venture capital
• Strong networking and relationship skills (e.g. industry networks, startups, mentors, investors)
• Strong academic background
• Experience in space business, earth observation, satellite navigation, transport policy, mobility, and security matters
• Fully fluent in English
• EU citizen or permanent EU residence/work permit
• Flexibility for occasional international travel (mostly day-trips)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite

• Business background with interest in space technology
• Knowledge of the startup ecosystem, particularly in the aviation, space, or defense sectors.
• Experience in managing startup accelerator programs, including organising workshops, mentoring sessions, and pitch events.
• Public sector consulting experience, knowledge of European institutions
• Other work experience, e.g. in innovation ecosystems and community building
