Responsibilities

As a Data Migration Analyst (m/w/d) , you will play a key role in the successful onboarding of new customers onto the padoa platform. You will join our Integration team, whose mission is to migrate complex business data from customers’ legacy software into padoa with accuracy, consistency, and minimal business disruption.

This is not a traditional reporting or analytics role. Your focus is on understanding legacy data models, defining migration rules, and ensuring that business-critical information is transformed into a structure that fits the padoa platform.

Key Missions:

• Analyze complex legacy databases and understand customer data structures.

• Design data mappings from source systems to the padoa data model.

• Define and implement SQL-based transformation and data cleansing rules.

• Validate migration results and ensure data quality and consistency.

• Work directly with customers to understand business processes and resolve data-related questions.

• Collaborate closely with Project Management in Germany and Integration & Data Engineering teams in France.

• Identify migration issues , propose pragmatic solutions, and continuously improve migration processes.

Profile

• 2-4 years of experience in a data-focused role such as Data Migration Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Solution Consultant, Technical Consultant, or similar.

• Strong SQL skills and confidence working directly with relational databases.

• Experience analysing complex data structures and translating business processes into technical data models.

• Familiarity with data mapping, data transformation, and data quality management.

• A structured, pragmatic, and hands-on approach to solving ambiguous problems.

• Strong analytical thinking combined with the ability to understand business processes behind the data.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers who may have limited technical knowledge.

• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.

• Languages: Native or near-native German (C1/C2) is essential, as you will work directly with German-speaking customers. Professional English is required for collaboration with our international teams. French is a plus.
