Working Student / Intern Product Associate focused on UX/UI Design

Construction software looks like it was designed in 2000. Because most of it actually was.

We're building something different. AI-powered, yes. But also: Actually intuitive. Actually something a 55-year-old office project manager and a young Azubi want to use at the same time.

Construction deserves software that doesn't suck. You'll help build it.

alago is a year old, raised a seven-figure pre-seed, and you'll define our visual identity during month 12-24 of the company. This window closes fast.

Aufgaben

What you'll actually do

• Shape the brand: Define how Alago looks and feels. Make us different from every other boring construction tool.
• Create the design system: Design components in Figma, collaborate with engineers to build them.
• Prototype new features: Build demos in Figma or Lovable, contribute to specs so the team can ship fast.
• Learn from users: See what actually confuses construction teams and iterate how we can improve their experiece.
• Make Alago look good everywhere: Landing pages, product animations, launch materials and brand collaterals.

Qualifikation

Must-Haves:

• Enrolled student in design, HCI, media informatics, architecture, or related field.
• C1 German fluency: You'll need to talk to German construction project managers.
• Figma proficiency: Components, prototyping, systems thinking.
• Technical enough to collaborate. You won't write production code, but you understand how web apps work and can work alongside engineers.

Bonus Points:

• You have strong opinions on products you love and hate. You notice details other people miss.
• Experience with Figma MCP, Cursor, or Lovable.
• Past work in B2B SaaS or complex enterprise tools.
• Interest in animations (Rive, Lottie).
• Side projects that show you care about craft.
