Frontend Software Engineer(Working Student) (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, multi-disciplinary Engineer for a Frontend Software role (Working Student) to join our Robot Group at Agile Robots SE. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development and maintenance of our web-based Robot HMI. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create a user-friendly and responsive product. You will also get hands-on experience with various robots and with an evolving stack of features.

Your Responsibilities

• You will work on-site in our office in Munich, developing and maintaining our web-based robot programming solution using Vue 3 and Typescript
• Collaborate with a talented team to design the user experience for the Robot HMI.
• Implement best practices for frontend development, including responsive UI, performance optimization, code quality, and testing
• Continuously improve the user experience of our UI to meet the evolving needs of our customers
• Integrate the Frontend code with different software stack
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Essential Skills

• Strong passion for frontend development and eagerness to learn and grow in the field

• Basic knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js/React/Angular

• Good command of the Unix environment (Ubuntu) and GIT

• Solid understanding of TypeScript /JavaScript languages

• Experience with version control systems and collaborative software development platforms

• Good problem-solving skills

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  

Beneficial Skills

• Basic knowledge or usage of C/C++, Python

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.

• Strong understanding of WebGL and its application in web development (e.g. three.js).

• Previous experience with authentication & authorization standards

• Basic robotics knowledge

• Experience working in Agile methodology
