Intern Open Innovation Ideation & Crowd Innovation (f/m/x)

Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation by connecting internal and external innovators. We enable idea generation and collaborative problem-solving through the BMW Crowd Innovation Platform, offering you the chance to support our dynamic Open Innovation team during your internship.

What awaits you?

• You will support the Lead of Crowd Innovation and the Open Innovation team in managing the BMW Crowd Innovation Platform.
• Furthermore, you help to optimize the BMW Crowd Innovation Platform by identifying and implementing improvements for an enhanced user experience.
• In addition, you contribute to supporting BMW departments worldwide in conceptualizing and implementing structured calls for ideas.
• Moreover, you will engage with the BMW Crowd as a moderator and ideation manager on the platform.
• You also help to set standards for ideation processes, crowd communication, and platform content.
• Furthermore, you contribute to the communication work stream, early validation (BMW Incubator), and project piloting (Business Building) work streams.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in business administration, innovation management, marketing, software engineering or a related field.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for 'Build-Measure-Learn'.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong interest in automotive R&D, especially in Open Innovation, Lean Startup, or Crowdsourcing.
• First experience with Open Innovation, Crowd Innovation, Lean Startup Methodology, or UI/UX Design is a plus.
• Fluency in English and German.
