How you’ll make an impact

As an Associate Vice President, you will be the pioneering leader for our Agentic & Generative AI offerings. You will shape our strategic direction, build a world-class team, and engage at the highest executive levels to fundamentally transform how industrial enterprises operate. Your impactful responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and drive the strategic roadmap for applying Generative AI and multi-agent systems across the industrial value chain, from manufacturing and energy to infrastructure and mobility.
• Innovation & Offering Development: Spearhead the creation and launch of new service offerings centered on industrial applications of LLMs, autonomous agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and generative design.
• Executive Client Engagement & Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, helping them move beyond AI hype to create tangible value through agentic workflows, intelligent human-machine interfaces, and generative solutions.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of AI consultants, architects, and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in the fast-evolving generative AI space.
• Agentic Solution Architecture & Oversight: Provide expert guidance on the architectural design of complex agentic solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and securely integrated within client OT/IT landscapes.
• Thought Leadership & Market Presence: Establish Siemens Advanta as the definitive leader in Agentic AI for Industry through publications, speaking engagements, and building a strong presence in relevant technology and industry forums.

Your defining qualities

We are seeking an inspiring leader with a profound, hands-on understanding of generative AI technologies and a passion for applying them to solve real-world industrial problems.

• An excellent university degree (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Artificial Intelligence, with a significant portion dedicated to the development or strategic application of Industrial AI, along with tangible experiences in Generative AI, LLMs, or agentic systems.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a consulting, professional services, or technology-first environment, with a proven track record in advisory and team mentorship.
• A visionary mindset with the ability to conceptualize how agentic AI can redefine industrial processes, from autonomous operations and complex system design to intelligent co-pilots for engineers and operators.
• Proven experience in consultative sales or business development, with a track record of shaping and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in the AI and technology space.
• Deep expertise in the emerging landscape of Generative AI for industrial and enterprise contexts, including practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen).
• Strong understanding of core ML principles, data warehousing & engineering (e.g., Snowflake), and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Familiarity with IT-OT architectures is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the strategic implications of complex agentic systems to executive and technical audiences alike.
• Fluency in English is essential; willingness to travel internationally is required.
