Are you in?Your roleKey responsibilities in your new roleAct as the technical lead and methodological expert for Burn-in (BI), including steering BI decisions, driving continuous improvements, and serving as the primary interface to technology and product development as well as statistics teamsProvide teaching, coaching, and knowledge transfer on Burn-in topics to cross-functional teams, ensuring a consistent and high-quality understanding of BI methodologies across the organizationSupport Design for Stress (DfS) sustaining activities, including the management and resolution of DfS Jira Tickets in close collaboration with relevant stakeholdersServe as the 1st level of support for internal customer inquiries, with a particular focus on Automotive Governance, ensuring timely and solution-oriented responsesDrive long-term, strategically important tasks that require sustained attention, ensuring that critical but non-urgent topics receive appropriate prioritization and follow-throughCollaborate closely with Front-End (FE), Back-End (BE) and product development teams, contributing expert knowledge on failure mechanisms, defects, design and test conditions to support informed quality decisionsLead customer communications about early topicsContribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS), processes, methods, and tools along the entire supply chain, with a strong automotive quality mindsetYour profileQualifications and skills to help you succeed A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, Physics, or a related fieldAt least 6 years of professional work experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a strong focus on quality management along the supply chain, Front-End and Back-End processes, and reliability testingExpert-level knowledge in Burn-in methodologies, including deep understanding of physical failure mechanisms, defect analysis, Fault Analysis (FA), and test conditions relevant to semiconductor devicesProven experience as a technical lead in a cross-functional environment, with the ability to drive decisions, align stakeholders, and manage Design for Stress (DfS) activities effectivelySolid understanding of wafer manufacturing process, foundational skills in data analysis, and familiarity with chip design, test engineering and product development processesProficiency in digital collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Intranet platformsShow a strong automotive quality mindset and knowledge about automotive requirementsOutstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine service provider attitude, with demonstrated ability to coach, teach, and inspire colleagues while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team cultureFluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
