You will work together with case teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory for diagnostics and live projects and deliver against commercial priorities for the Operations Vantage Team business.In addition, you will support with guidance from senior colleagues, your topic in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of latest, high-quality content. You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the procurement topic business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts.The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices and helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities. The Procurement Topic Area is an expert network of Vantage members and experienced consultants who help clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., procurement strategy, operating model, digital transformation, sustainable procurement, risk & resilience, etc.).As a SA on Client Focus (CF) track for the Operations Practice Area & Procurement business, you will be:Driving problem solving and solutioning for clients generating insights towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business contextLeading development and commercialization of Procurement knowledge and assets, aiming to innovate our offers and enhance our go to market approachesYOU'RE GOOD ATKnowledgeable in Operations processes related to Procurement strategy, value delivery, operating model and Digital/Gen AIEngaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibilityStrong work ethics, service-mentality and willingness to showcase expertiseAbility to multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organizationCollaborative, team player – including in an international, virtual communications environmentFlexibility and bring an entrepreneurial mindset, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideasWorking in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environmentWhat You'll Bring3+ years of consulting experience in operations/procurement required; candidates with consulting experience strongly preferred2+ years of Industry or specific sector experienceIn lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum procurement experience required; 3-5+ years of procurement experience strongly preferredBachelor/Master degree from a reputed university with demonstrated academic achievementsProficiency with MS-Office Suite (especially Advanced Excel and Power Point). Additional programming skills are a plus.
