IT Project Manager (f/m/d) Carve-Out / Mergers & Acquisitions

You'll make an impact by:

• In your new role, you act as the interface to the IT organizations of the carve-out object, global IT functions, the carve-out / M&A project management, and other carve-out workstreams
• As IT project manager, you are responsible for IT budgets in the global M&A environment and coordinate and manage the implementation of IT separation
• Within "Standalone" projects, you advise the IT management on defining the "Future Mode of Operation" and the IT business plan, and work with stakeholders to develop optimization and cost reduction measures
• Additionally, you contribute your expertise in M&A contract negotiations, design IT contract clauses, and present IT and IT separation to the buyer in expert sessions
• You prepare all relevant information on the "IT status quo" and IT separation for the data room and conduct IT due diligence in acquisition projects
• In light of new separation requirements, you further develop existing methods and processes together with project participants and drive innovation

This is how you'll win us over:

• Education : Successfully completed university degree in economics and/or a technical field
• Experience and Skills :
  • Many years of professional experience in IT, experience in management consulting is desirable
  • Experience in leading large or international IT projects and in-depth business management knowledge
  • Understanding of the M&A environment, ideally with experience in M&A and carve-out projects
  • Profound and up-to-date knowledge in IT architectures, ERP systems, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity
  • Familiarity and practical use of AI potential
  • Experience with medium-sized companies is an advantage
  • Confident working in an international environment and initial experience in C-level communication
• Ways of Working : Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and solution orientation
• Languages : Business fluent English skills and fluent German skills
