Senior Account Executive

About the Role

This is a full-cycle Account Executive position at a fast-growing AI software company serving the manufacturing and industrial sector in Germany. You'll own deals end-to-end — from first meeting to signed contract — working alongside a dedicated prospecting team to help Heads of Procurement and C-level leaders turn purchasing into a strategic advantage. It's a high-impact role at the heart of the company's revenue engine.

What You'll Do

• Qualify and close new B2B software customers across manufacturing and industrial companies.

• Manage the full sales cycle including discovery, demos, business case development, negotiation, and contract closure.

• Partner with a prospecting team to maintain a strong, conversion-ready pipeline.

• Build tailored sales strategies and develop long-term customer partnerships.

• Advise customers and articulate ROI through data-driven business cases.

• Collect and relay customer feedback to shape product direction.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success to refine the sales motion.

• Contribute to building out sales processes and a high-performance sales culture.

• Identify and experiment with AI-assisted workflows to improve sales effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1–2 years of closing experience in B2B software sales (5+ years for senior-level consideration).

• Experience selling into industrial or technical environments; familiarity with procurement or supply chain is a strong plus.

• Proven ability to run an end-to-end sales process and develop customer-specific strategies.

• Comfortable building business cases and using data to articulate product value.

• Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and tracking key sales metrics.

• Excellent written and spoken German — this is a dealbreaker requirement.

• Consultative, solution-oriented mindset with strong advisory instincts.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and eager to contribute to company growth.

• Willing and able to work on-site in Munich and engage customers in person.
